On 4 March 2016 (Friday), the Indian Institute of Technology Madras/ Nagaoka University of Technology Joint Seminar was held at the Embassy of India in Tokyo, Japan. Approximately 60 people attended this seminar, including Indian Institute of Technology Madras alumni in Japan, as well as representatives from companies and organizations associated with India.

After the welcome reception, opening addresses were delivered by the representative of the Indian Ambassador and Ms. Inoue, Director of the International Affairs Division, Minister’s Secretariat, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Prof. S. Prakash then gave a lecture, which was followed by an active question and answer session.
