Accelerating the overseas implementation of the KOSEN-UT engineering education system
through collaborations with KOSEN colleges
NUT will cooperate with 4 KOSEN colleges that have already begun collaborations with Mexico to apply the know-how of the KOSEN-UT engineering education system to this overseas program. In addition to the support provided by teachers in these partnerships, the KOSEN college students will also mutually provide practical education support among themselves, thereby facilitating the overseas establishment and spread of this program.

Mexico: a NAFTA manufacturing base that allows students to experience global corporate activities in a rapidly developing region
Global corporations (such as automobile industries) from Japan, the US and Europe have made dramatic expansions into Mexico, which is undergoing rapid development as a NAFTA manufacturing base. This educational program will maximize the advantages of this region that enable students to have first-hand experience in global corporate activities, and endeavor to foster the development of practical and leading engineers who can excel on the global stage.

Oversea Long-term Internship
Twinning Program involves students spending the first half of undergraduate education in their home university, where they focus on Japanese language education and basic engineering education; the second half of education is spent in Japan where students focus on advanced specialized engineering education. Students who successfully complete the course may obtain degrees from both universities.
