Japanese Language Education
NUT has provided various opportunities for international students to learn Japanese language as well as Japanese culture.

On-campus Japanese Courses
*Please check the Information for International Students for latest announcement.
Guidance and placement tests are held every April and September.
Students who wish to take a Japanese course must attend and take the test.
1. Japanese Regular Courses (with Credits)
The Japanese Regular Courses target undergraduate and graduate students with basic Japanese language level.
*Lecture in English: General Affairs of Japan I-2 (2nd semester) is conducted in English. Students without any Japanese language background are welcome to attend.

Japanese Non-Regular Courses offer students various level of Japanese language studies.
To enroll, please contact a Japanese lecturer personally, and attend the very first class.

2.1 Japanese Language Learning Opportunity for Spouse of International Students
NUT offers opportunity for spouse of international students to attend Japanese courses for beginners if there are available seats.
The class charge is 14,800yen. *Amount is subject to change
