Application Guide for Admission Fee and Tuition Fee Exemption/Deferral (AY2026) - For Privately Financed International Students

*Application period for entrance fee waiver and deferment:Application must be submitted during the enrollment procedure period.
*Tuition fee waiver application period:From March 2 to March 31
【Important Notes (Please Read Carefully)】
Even if you do not plan to apply for exemption or deferral, please be sure to read the following:
1.No Refunds: The admission fee and tuition received by Nagaoka University of Technology cannot be refunded for any reason.
2.No Applications After Payment: Once the admission fee and tuition payments have been made, no applications for exemption or postponement will be accepted. Even if an "Application Form for Admission Fee Exemption/Deferment" is submitted, it will not be accepted once the payment is confirmed.
3.Combined Payment Restriction: In the event that combined tuition payment is made for both the first half and second half, tuition exemption applications for the second half may not be made for any reason.
4.Simultaneous Application Available: It is possible to apply simultaneously for tuition exemptions for both the first and second half together. In July or later, there will be a notification posted on on-campus bulletin boards and our website regarding applying for second half tuition exemptions after not submitting a combined application for both halves.
5.Strict Deadlines: Applications made after the period listed will NOT be accepted for ANY REASON. If you cannot submit an application during the period listed, contact us beforehand to let us know.

Future applications for Tuition Fee Exemption will be posted on bulletin boards in the lecture halls, commissary, and Student Affairs Office, as well as on the [University's website for current students]
