Memorandum of Agreement of Internship Program with IITM and Plasma Giken Co., Ltd.

On 29 March 2018 (Thursday), President Dr. Azuma received a courtesy call from Dr. M. Kamaraj and Dr. Rajappa Gnanamoorthy from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM). Memorandum of Agreement of Internship Program was concluded between Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), Plasma Giken Co. Ltd. and Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Based on this agreement, students from IITM takes internship subject offered at NUT and are accepted at Plasma Giken Co. Ltd. for practical training.
In a meeting with President Dr. Azuma, Executive Director and Vice President Dr. Mikami, Dr. Okazaki (Mechanical Engineering) and Dr. Suematsu (Nuclear System Safety Engineering) regarding student exchange under tripartite agreement and joint seminar etc. were discussed.
We will continue to enhance cooperation with them mainly through the mutual dispatch of students and faculty members.
