Accepted an Exchange Student from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras

As part of the Inter-University Exchange Project, which aims to support the creation of inter-university exchanges in the Indo-Pacific region, we accepted an exchange student from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

From December 2, 2024, we held five days of special Japanese language classes. These classes gave the student the opportunity to learn essential Japanese for everyday life.

After the classes ended, the student began an internship at Plasma Giken Co., Ltd. approximately two months later, on December 9, 2024. During the internship, the student worked on producing metal additive manufacturing using cold spraying technology, and also wrote a paper about the adhesion requirements of metal powder and its mechanical properties.

Going forward, we will continue to organize the program to accept more students while strengthening our partnerships with domestic companies.
