Attended in the Liaison Conference of the Inter-University Exchange Project (Indian-Pacific)

Our staff members and one student attended the Liaison Conference of the Inter-University Exchange Project (Indian-Pacific) held at Senda Lab, Higashi-Senda Campus, Hiroshima University on November 20, 2025.

This liaison conference has been conducted every year since fiscal year 2022, and this time marks the fourth time it has been held. Following last year, this year was also held in a hybrid format, combining on-sight and online participation, and many related parties participated.

The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation between selected universities and promote the project as a whole. During the event, students who had studied abroad shared their experiences through English presentations, followed by active networking sessions and professional discussions among faculty and staff. Also, as special lectures, Mr. Sidhdharth Raju, Head of Pre-sales at SCTM Engineering (on secondment from Tech Mahindra in India), and Mr. Ogawa Tatsuro, President and CEO of SCTM Engineering (on secondment from Sumitomo Corporation), gave talks in English regarding career formation and perspectives necessary for global leaders.

The participating students gave wonderful presentations about their own study abroad experiences, actively asked questions about the lecture content, and also actively exchanged opinions in the student workshop. Through such exchanges, we expect to cultivate the student's global mind.

Toward further expansion of educational cooperation and network formation with overseas, and the fostering of global human resources who can be active internationally, we will continue to focus our efforts on the Inter-University Exchange Project.
