Special Lecture Held by Dr. Jihong Zhu from University of York

On Friday, August 21, Dr. Jihong Zhu from University of York in the U.K. visited our campus as part of the Inter-University Exchange Project. Dr. Jihong Zhu specializes in caregiving robotics research at University of York's Institute for Safe Autonomy.

During the visit, Dr. Jihong Zhu delivered a lecture titled "Robots for Caregiving and Chemistry Automation." The event drew a large audience of students, who listened attentively as he shared his research on robotics in caregiving and lab automation.

The visit also provided a valuable opportunity for interaction with our faculty members involved in the Inter-University Exchange Project, further strengthening the ties between University of York and the Nagaoka University of Technology. Moving forward, we will deepen our partnerships to promote student exchange and foster global talent through the Inter-University Exchange Project.
