I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued understanding and generous support of the educational and research activities at Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT).
Since its establishment in 1976, our university has been dedicated to fostering talented individuals, and we are now approaching our 50th anniversary. This milestone would not have been possible without your unwavering support and cooperation, for which we are deeply grateful.
To remain an indispensable institution in the global society, it is essential for us to secure a stable financial foundation. This will enable us to cultivate practical and creative researchers and engineers who possess broad perspectives and flexible thinking, advance academic research, and transform their findings into innovative technologies. In light of increasingly severe national financial constraints, we must not rely solely on limited government resources. Instead, we aim to diversify our funding sources and strengthen our financial foundation as a national university corporation.
In response to the changing environment surrounding national universities, NUT established the "Nagaoka University of Technology Fund" to support students and other initiatives. Thanks to your generous contributions, we have been able to create an educational and learning environment that prioritizes students above all else. Additionally, we are committed to supporting students facing financial difficulties, ensuring that motivated and capable individuals have access to educational opportunities, and contributing to the revitalization of the university as a whole.
