Student Support Center
Nagaoka University of Technology has established a Student Support Center to support students who are experiencing difficulties in their student life.
The Student Support Center works in cooperation with the Physical Education and Health Care Center and various counseling services to support students in resolving their concerns.

The “General Consultation and Support Desk” was established to help students experience their university lives with peace of mind from the time of admission until graduation.
Are you facing any problems? Instead of keeping them to yourself, feel free to come to the General Consultation and Support Desk.
A consultant will listen to you and respond with kindness. Your privacy is guaranteed.
Come and talk to us…when you don’t know who to talk to, when you are worried about your academic or career path, when you have trouble in your daily life, when you are worried about interpersonal relationships, when you have requests or complaints to the university, etc.
The General Consultation and Support Desk will assist your university life by linking you with the appropriate faculty or staff member, with your approval, based on the content of the problem.

Peer Cafe
“Peers” refer to one’s companions and equals. The Peer Cafe provides a place where students can consult with one another about small problems. There are also student peer supporters who draw on their personal experiences as students to provide advice.
This is a place where you can relax and talk freely. This is a place where you can feel at ease.
