Overview of Student Housing
Nagaoka University of Technology’s student housing aims to provide our students with a place to live and study, and contribute to the enrichment of campus life and the promotion of international exchange. These residences are located in a scenic setting with a panoramic view of the Higashiyama mountain range. Students from throughout Japan and international students from various countries reside in each dormitory, which helps residents gain an international mindset through interactions with students of different backgrounds and nationalities.
The various dormitories, eligibility requirements, and number of rooms are described below.

Student Dormitory (For Male Students)
This dormitory is for male undergraduate students, and consists of 2 buildings within the university campus. Each room is private, and communal facilities include a communal bath, shower rooms, kitchenette (with IH cooking heaters and gas water heaters), and laundry room.t

In-room furnishings and fixtures
Air conditioner, study desk, chair, tatami bed, locker, TV socket, curtain rail, and wired LAN socket.
Communal facilities
The communal bath can be used between 19:00 and 24:00.
Shower rooms can be used every day except between 10:30 and 12:00.
The sinks, toilets, kitchenettes, and laundry rooms are shared by 12 residents.
International Student House (For Female Students)
This dormitory is for female Japanese undergraduate students and female international students, and is located within the university campus. Each room is private, and each floor has a common room where residents can interact with one another.

Communal facilities
Coin-operated washers and dryers are available in the laundry room.
30th Anniversary Student House (Mixed Housing)
This dormitory is for Japanese graduate students (both male and female) and international students (both male and female), and is located within the university campus. There are 19 single rooms (5 rooms for male Japanese students, 5 rooms for female Japanese students, 5 rooms for female international students, 3 rooms for male international students, and 1 room for students with disabilities) and 5 married couple rooms (international students and Japanese doctoral students).

International House
This residence is mainly for international students, and is located within the university campus. There are 46 single rooms (for male students), 8 married couple rooms, and 5 family rooms. The communal facilities include a lounge, community room, Japanese-style room, laundry room, and shower room. The community room and Japanese-style room are actively used as places for international exchange among students (currently closed).

LinkTeCH House
This dormitory was completed in September 2017, and is located within the university campus. The rooms are structured as a share-house type, and communal facilities include LDK (IH cooking heaters, refrigerator, microwave oven, intercom, TV, dining set, electric kettle, etc.), showers, toilets, sinks, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, and shoe cabinets. The building has an atrium reaching up to the third floor, with communication salons and halls available on each floor. Students can socialize in the multipurpose room and garden.

In-room furnishings and fixtures
Air conditioner, bed, wagon (with drawers), chair, curtains, wired LAN socket, TV socket, and 10-amp outlet.
Communal facilities
There are 10-key code locks at each unit entrance and room door.
Unlimited internet access is provided at a flat rate.
In addition to dedicated LAN access in each room, a Wi-Fi router is installed in the living room of each unit (6 or 7 residents).
Each unit (6 or 7 residents) shares an LDK, shower room, toilet, sink, and washing machine.
The common areas of each unit are cleaned 3 times a week by the management company.
There are coin-operated dryers on the first floor.
There is a dedicated bicycle parking area and garbage station on the premises.
The premises are monitored by security cameras.
Residents may apply for parking lots (up to 40 spaces) at a monthly fee of 2,200 yen (including tax) per car.
The call center is available 24 hours a day.
