2014.11.11
On November 4, 2014 (Tue.), the opening ceremony of the “Japan–Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science (SAKURA Exchange Program in Science)”, which is the short-term international student exchange support system of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), was held at Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT).
The project was designed to contribute to the development of excellent human resources from abroad for Japanese universities and research institutes. Highly capable young people from all over Asia visit Japan for a short period of time, deepen exchange in the field of science and technology, and increase their interest in the latest science and technology in Japan.
NUT implements a program that accepts excellent postgraduate students from Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) and Universiti Sains Malaysia (Malaysia) for three weeks and promotes research guidance and joint research.
