On November 17 (Mon.) and 18 (Tue.), 2014, nine teachers of Department of Materials Science, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) were invited to have a joint colloquium with Department of Materials Science and Technology, Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT).
In addition to young teachers of Chulalongkorn University (CU), more than 30 people participated in the colloquium, including young teachers of the Department of Materials Science and Technology, NUT, as main participants, post-doctoral researchers, students, international students from CU, and six students of CU who were summoned by the JST SAKURA Exchange Program in Science. Research presentations were made by each teacher on the first day and by students on the second day. A lively exchange of opinion was held on both days. We will continue to engage in the active promotion of joint research and the exchange between universities.
