Mr. Luvsannyam Gantumur, the Minister for Education and Science of Mongolia, Conferred the Title of Presidentially-appointed Professor

 Nagaoka University of Technology appointed Mr. Luvsannyam Gantumur, the Minister for Education and Science of Mongolia who attended the opening ceremony for GIGAKU Techno Park held on March 2, 2015 (Mon), as a NUT Presidentially appointed professor. The Minister Mr. Gantumur, a graduate of NUT, was conferred an honorary doctorate from NUT in November three years ago shortly after he took office as the first Mongolian minister who studied in Japan.

 Since assuming the heavy responsibility, the Minister Mr. Gantumur held a lot of discussions with government officials in Japan, including Dr. Niihara, President, and has made efforts for educational reform in Mongolia and exchange of persons between Japan and Mongolia. The minister made a statement that he was extremely proud of the title of NUT Presidentially appointed Professor and wanted to cooperate in the development of education and research exchange between Japan and Mongolia and in undertaking challenges of Nagaoka University of Technology.
