On March 27, 2015, Japanese Ambassador to Mexico, Mr. Akira YAMADA officially visited the GIGAKU Techno Park (GTP) office in order to know and understand the strategy of Gigaku Techno Park project, deployed and managed by Nagaoka University of Technology.
Dr. Lopez, coordinator of GTP showed its progress of this GTP, outlook of our concept of the integrated global campus strategy and mission of this project in which we foster highly talented engineers and contribute to industrial development in both countries. In addition, general background of these area and recent development of Japanese companies were also explained.
Questions of the ambassador were diverse, including meaning of GIGAKU, reason for strong connection among NUT, UG and state of Guanajuato, and recent students exchange. This is to show great interest of the embassy to GTP project and it is an honor to welcome the ambassador today.
Undoubtedly, this official visit of Ambassador Mr. YAMADA, reinforces relationships between Mexico and Japan.
