　Nagaoka University of Technology celebrated its Entrance Ceremony (September) at SECOM Hall on September 1 (Tue.). President Dr. Niihara admitted 60 new students, including 56 international students: 11 undergraduate students, 21 master’s program students, and 28 doctoral program students.
　After the oath of admission, President Dr. Niihara offered encouragement and words of congratulations to the new students: “I hope that students, particularly international students, will learn the technology and spirit of ‘Japanese-style manufacturing’ under a systematic education and research system based on our university’s concept of ‘GIGAKU’”.
