Assistant Dean of Tshwane University of Technology Pays a Courtesy Call on President Dr. Azuma

 On December 15 (Tue.), 2015, Dr. Mukondeleli Grace Kanakana (Assistant Dean of Teaching and Learning) from Tshwane University of Technology, our partner university in South Africa, paid a courtesy call on President Dr. Azuma. She energetically exchanged views with President Dr. Azuma, Vice President Dr. Mikami, Dr. Aketagawa, Prof. of Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Yukawa, Prof. of Department of Information and Management Systems Engineering, on the exchanges to date, our projects in the Top Global University Project, and future student exchanges.

 Dr. Kanakana visited our facilities for two days, on the 15th and 16th, including the Center for e-Learning Research and Application, Sound and Vibration Engineering Center, Extreme Energy-Density Research Institute, Library, and laboratories of the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Information and Management Systems Engineering. Teachers of our university explained outlines of each avenue of research.

 Nagaoka University of Technology and Tshwane University of Technology concluded an academic exchange agreement in August 2013. Since then we have mutually exchanged teachers. We continue to deepen cooperation as an important basis for our university.
