On 8th November (Fri), 1st GAICCE Alliance Meeting, annual meeting of Global Academia-Industry Consortium for Collaborative Education (GAICCE) Program utilizing GIGAKU Techno Park (GTP) Network was held at Nagaoka City Hall Aore.
(GAICCE alliance member: Chulalongkorn University in Thailand - CU, Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Viet Nam - HUST, Universiti Sains Malaysia – USM in Malaysia, Takasago Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd., and NUT)

After taking group photo, Prof. Ohishi / Executive Director and Vice-president delivered opening remark, and Asst. Prof. Sirithan / CU, project director of GAICCE introduced this project.

Following the overview of this project, Prof. Kobayashi / NUT made a presentation about GAICCE activities supported by GTP, and students (Ms. Mili / PhD DDP candidate and Ms. Nguyen / Master’s DDP) explained their research works related to GAICCE. Furthermore, Assoc. Prof. Huyen / HUST and Dr. Siti / USM made presentations of academia-industry collaborative project.

Furthermore, GAICCE supporter, Mr. Inoue / Takasago Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd., Mr. Masuda / AIKAWA Iron Works Co., Ltd., and Mr. Tsurumaki / Biotech Japan Corporation introduced their company’s profile and internship activities. Subsequently, Asst. Prof. Karn made presentations of academia-industry collaborative project after networking lunch.

To produce sustainable cooperative environment more multidisciplinary and multilaterally in the future, GAICCE alliance member will strive to achieve our goals.
