To all students who wish to postpone payment of the first semester’s tuition fees for 2020,

NUT is scheduled to collect this year’s tuition fees for the first semester on June 1, 2020. However, the spread of COVID-19 had reduced the income of those paying tuition fees, and also reduced the part-time income of students. We therefore understand that there are students who cannot pay their tuition fees on time. For these students, we are allowing the postponement of the tuition fee payment deadline from September 15, 2020 to March 15, 2021.

For students who wish to postpone their payment of the first semester’s tuition fees, please follow the procedure below.

For students who have already applied for exemptions from the first semester’s tuition fees or for a Scholarship Grant from the Japan Student Services Organization, the deadline is already postponed until the results of the applications are released. Therefore, these students do not have to apply for the postponement.

If an application is not approved and a student must pay all or some of the fees, NUT will provide more information for re-applying for another postponement.
　
Application method:

Please download the “Request for Postponement of Tuition Fee Payment” form below and fill in the necessary sections. The completed form must be submitted by post before the application deadline. If a submission would be too late via post, students can first send the completed application form via fax or e-mail, and send the original form by post later.
