Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) is certified as “The Mitsuke City SDGs Partner” on June 25 (Thursday), and a certification ceremony was held on the same day.

For partner-certified companies and organizations, the name of the organization and its related efforts will be introduced on the Mitsuke City website, and together with the certification, Mitsuke City's original SDGs logos and stickers are provided.
At the award ceremony, the Deputy Mayor of Mitsuke City, Mr. Yukio Shimizu, conferred a certificate of recognition to the Vice President of NUT, Dr. Bumpei Nakade (in charge of Admissions, SDGs, Regional Collaboration, and NUT Alumni.)
In addition, in the discussion after the presentation ceremony, Deputy Mayor Shimizu mentioned on the SDGs initiative carried out by NUT and Mitsuke City in collaboration, such as holding SDGs x Programming model classes and holding technical development advisory meetings. He expressed his expectation for NUT to build deeper relationships with Mitsuke City, also to provide the specialized knowledge of NUT.
