Cancellation of FY2022 Entrance Ceremony

In view of the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the undergraduate and graduate entrance ceremonies, which were scheduled on April 5 (Tuesday), 2022.

The number of infected people is increasing in Niigata, and the situation in the future is still uncertain.

As we fully understand that entrance ceremony is a momentous event to mark a significant turning point celebrating a new start for new students and their family members, we have been discussing and giving extra attention to review the possibility to hold the event.

However, we have reached this hard decision of cancelling the ceremony, in consideration of the need both to prioritize the health and safety of everyone and to implement protective measures against the spread of COVID-19.
