Visit to Hanoi University of Science and Technology (Vietnam)

On March 4, Dr. Watari, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Mr. Suda, a first-year student of the Department of Bioengineering of Nagaoka University of Technology, visited the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Bioengineering, Hanoi University of Science of Technology. Hanoi University of Science and Technology is the first Vietnamese university in science and technology. It is currently the top-ranked Vietnamese university.

The two universities have built a strong relationship and promoted collaborations, including the Inter-Faculty Twinning Program and the JST-JICA SATREPS ESCANBER Project. We discussed our WISE Program with Dr. Pham Trung Nghia, Dr. Nguyen Lang Huong, and Dr. Nguyen Minh Tan and made arrangements for Hanoi University of Science and Technology to become a host organization of our overseas internship program.
