Visit to the Institute of Glass and Ceramics, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) and Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology

On March 4, we visited the Institute of Glass and Ceramics, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) and Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology (IISB). The University of Erlangen-Nuremberg is a research-oriented university ranked 175th in the THE (Times Higher Education) World University Rankings and 20th among German universities.

We met with Dr. FEY Tobias, Group Leader for Cellular Ceramics and Simulation of the Institute of Glass and Ceramics. We explained the principles of the WISE Program and the Global Pro-Active Root Technology Program. We also discussed the acceptance of overseas research internship participants and joint research related to structural materials for next-generation mobility.

In addition, at IISB, which is the largest applied research institute in Europe, we had meetings on joint research related to advanced power electronics solutions for the conversion, supply, and storage of electrical energy.
