Mr. Nakagawa is a specialist in queuing theory and probability / statistics, and instantly answers questions from numerous knowledge about mathmatical questions.
Research Content
In the research, we examine and evaluate the characteristics of how data in the network come and go. Such research is very important as it is required to utilize for networks built between household appliances. Members belonging to our laboratory are conducting research aiming at improving Quality of Service(QoS) in order to realize a more comfortable and more fair network environment.

A Day in the Lab
In this laboratory, there are four types of seminars, “all member seminar” and “paper reading seminar”, “textbook reading seminar”, and “individual seminar”. Each student decides seminars at their own time, and they study and prepare materials for the seminars. Especially the all member seminar is a seminar where all members meet together once a week and report the progress of the research. Undergraduate student is instructed by master's student, and they have an atmosphere to feel free to consult with. Also, the teachers will always take discussion for us, so we think that there is no worry of panic before graduation.
