Professor / TANAKA Satoshi
Tanaka sensei always has a constant communication with the students, which lead in an effective guidance to the students and thus, the students are constantly improving their skills. You can ask to him all your inquires about of your experiments and he will be glad to solve them.

Research Content

Nowadays, the ceramics are used in many fields that are necesary foy the daily life. Tanaka sensei laboratory is mainly focused in the study of ceramics manufacturing, studying new ways to improve them properties and applied them. In our laboratory, we are looking for solving the problems that apear during the ceramics manufacturing and systematize this process leading to develop advanced ceramics.

New equipment called High Pressure Homogenizer used to improve the ceramic process.

A Day in the Lab

In the laboratory, the students are free to use them time to proceed with their research and other experiments related to ceramics manufacturing. The students are constantly exchanging their opinions or point of view about of the research perfoming in the laboratory, which lead to solve problem in a new creative ways as well as help to the excellent formation of new researchers for laboratories or the industry. Also, seminars are held every week on friday were the latest research results are discussed with the help of Tanaka sensei. Finally, events as welcome party, cherry-blossom viewing, etc. are planned.

A party organized in laboratory where Mexican tacos and Japanese takoyaki were made.
