  • Highly reliable ceramics
  • Ceramics science applied
  • Improving the ceramics manufacturing process

Professor / TANAKA Satoshi
Professor Tanaka is a very dedicated professor and always have good communication with students so that each lab member can have the best guidance that they can follow, this help students improving their skills at all time. During the research period, you can ask sensei about the experiments or disscuss about related topics and he will gladly help you to understand more about the experiment itself and the topic if you mention about it.

Research Content

Nowadays, ceramic materials are used in many fields that are necessary foy the daily life. Tanaka sensei’s laboratory is mainly focused in the study of ceramics manufacturing, studying new ways to enhance their properties and apply them. In our laboratory, we are looking for solving the problems that apear during the ceramics manufacturing and systematize this process leading to develop advanced ceramics.

New equipment called High Pressure Homogenizer used to improve the ceramic process.

A Day in the Lab

In the laboratory, the students are free to use them time to proceed with their research and other experiments related to ceramics manufacturing. The students are constantly exchanging their opinions or point of view about of the research perfoming in the laboratory, which lead to solve problem in a new creative ways as well as help to the excellent formation of new researchers for laboratories or the industry. Also, seminars are held every week on Tuesday were the latest research results are discussed with the help of Tanaka sensei. Finally, events as welcome party, cherry-blossom viewing, etc. are planned.
