He is mild and friendly. He conducts experiments with students and takes time to think with them when they are stuck in their research.

Research Content

We are conducting research to support the medical field and research to support human life using AI, IoT, and Kansei measurement technologies. In research to support the medical field, we conduct research on Kansei measurement of medical workers and product evaluation of medical devices. In research to support human life, we are studying the automation of dialysis machine operation and remote vital sign monitoring based on facial images and dialysis support system data.

A Day in the Lab

Our laboratory holds regular weekly meetings to report on research progress. We are well-equipped with experimental equipment such as PCs for machine learning, multispectral cameras, and heartbeat interval measurement devices, allowing us to proceed with our research activities without any problems. Furthermore, we have many opportunities to conduct experiments at medical universities and medical facilities with which we conduct joint research. Our ultimate goal is to present our research results at national and international conferences and to summarize them in a paper.
