Drawing on the potential strength of the microbial communities, we develop environmentally friendly and cost-saving innovative wastewater and waste treatment systems, which are then piloted on a large scale for industrial application. Besides, with sophisticated and advanced molecular microbiology techniques, we conduct in-depth studies on the microorganism, including analyzing microbial communities, isolating and culturing uncultured microorganisms, and clarifying species interactions. Recently, pioneering hydrosphere soil environmental control technologies are becoming a new research direction in our lab. It involves studies on agricultural biomass recycling, water reclamation systems implementation for terrestrial aquaculture, and plant disease treatment by biological methods.
