Research Content

Equipped with a world-class research environment, our laboratory offers opportunities to engage in cutting-edge research across a wide range of fields, including robot control, IoT system development, metal 3D printing, and nanotechnology. The laboratory also provides numerous opportunities for students to achieve significant personal growth, such as developing new products in collaboration with industry partners and participating in international conferences. In addition, students can conduct research and development through international collaborations with overseas companies, government organizations, and universities.

A Day in the Lab

In this laboratory, seminars are held twice a week, and there are no core hours. Students can cultivate independence and creativity by developing and executing their own research plans. Additionally, with many international students enrolled, it is a very global laboratory where you can learn about foreign perspectives and cultures by sharing daily life, such as serving each other traditional dishes.
The members have a good relationship, and there are events such as birthday parties for Prof. Nakayama and farewell parties for international and graduating students.
