Associate Professor / MIZOSHIRI Mizue
Professor Mizoshiri discusses with students when we are stuck or trouble by our research and gives us hints to overcome our challenges. She works closely with students and advance research together. She is always taking care of students.

Research Content

We are developing novel microfabrication techniques using laser lights, and applying them for fabricating microdevices. For example, we have variety of research topics, a research about fabricatin technique for micro 3D structures in air by using femtosecond laser pulses. The fabrication dynamics was analyzed time-resolved measurement by using a pump-probe technique. We also working on creating devices to observe micro cells. At last, Microfabrication technology is not only focus on miniaturization but also utilizing of "size effect" that generated in micro and nano scales.

A Day in the Lab

We have flexible time systems, which allows students to come the lab to do research or study at any time. We also have meeting to talk about scientific article and a lot of chances to make presentation in academic conferences. In addition to research, the laboratory holds seasonal events where you can deepen your friendships with professors and students.
