Professor / ISHIBASHI Takayuki
Professor Ishibashi, our academic advisor, possesses extensive knowledge across diverse fields yet is approachable. He values student autonomy and thoughtfully guides us toward solutions for our research from a broad perspective.

Research Content

Our laboratory primarily conducts research on magnetic garnet thin films and develops their application technologies. Specifically, we study high-quality, property-controlled samples through the fabrication and evaluation of magnetic garnet thin films using the metal-organic decomposition(MOD)method. As applied technologies, we develop imaging techniques to visualize magnetic fields using fabricated samples and research AI devices utilizing physical phenomena.

A Day in the Lab

The Ishibashi Lab conducts research across a wide range of themes, making it a laboratory where experience and knowledge from various fields—not limited to materials and chemistry, but also including electrical engineering and information science—can be utilized. During the weekly seminar, students present weekly progress reports on their research and summarize and present international papers related to their research. Additionally, student-led study sessions provide foundational learning in specialized fields.
