Response to the Novel Coronavirus Infection (4th Notice)

　In view of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the following university events have been cancelled or made changes as follows in order to prevent spread of the virus.

[Joint Job Fairs]
This event is CANCELLED; however, individual joint job fairs can be held at the discretion of each department only if the all following conditions are fulfilled, also appropriate preventive measures such as careful hand washing and removal of bacteria with alcohol are being undertaken.

1. Events where number of participants are limited up to about 20 in order to avoid close contact
2. Making a space at: front, rear, left, and right on every seat
3. Events that in no more than one hour long.

[Graduation Ceremony]

1. Venue: CHANGED TO Nagaoka University of Technology (Lecture room A, and other lecture rooms.)
2. Date and time: 25 March 2020 (Wednesday)

• Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony: From 10:00 to 10:15
• Graduate Graduation Ceremony: From 13:30 to 14:20

3. The participants at the ceremony are limited only to graduates and faculty members.
4. Any of family members (CANNOT ENTER the ceremony hall.) or those who are not graduates CANNOT attend the ceremony.
5. The celebration party is cancelled.

[Entrance Ceremony]

1. Venue: CHANGED TO Nagaoka University of Technology (Lecture room A, and other lecture rooms.
2. Date and time: 5 April 2020 (Sunday)

• Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony: From 10:00 to 10:20
• Graduate Entrance Ceremony: From 11:30 to 11:50

3. The participants at the ceremony are limited only to graduates, faculty members.
4. Any of family members or those who are not graduates CANNOT attend the ceremony. (CANNOT ENTER the ceremony hall.)

[Guidance for New Students (From April 4 to April 6)].
At present, it is scheduled to be held. The location will be divided into several rooms at NUT in distance to avoid participants in close contact

[1st and 3rd year New Student Orientation Trip (From April 7 to April 8)]

• Staying over nigh at some accommodation, as well as company tour will be all CANCELLED.
• An orientation guidance is scheduled to be held. The location will be divided into several rooms at NUT in distance to avoid participants in close contact.
