Research Content

Digital signal processing is used for various things with images and sounds. It is also used in many fields such as face recognition and acoustic separation, which go hand in hand with AI that has been attracting attention in recent years.
Our laboratory is involved in a wide range of fields, including digital filter design and signal processing analysis using machine learning. Recently, we have been focusing on bone conduction research. In addition, we can conduct experiments using school facilities such as an anechoic chamber and a soundproof room.

A Day in the Lab

There are two types of seminars every week. In the first, you present your work in front of everyone in the lab and receive questions and advice from the teacher and students.
In the second, you decide about your research plan with the professor.
There are no core hours in this laboratory, so students are free to do their research at any time. You can spend your time doing things that are typical of students, such as club activities and part-time jobs. You can also have fun and go out to eat with other lab members. However, self-discipline is important.
