As part of this program, a debriefing session was held for the four students who underwent overseas Jitsumu-Kunren internships last year at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. The debriefing session was held at NUT on April 17 (Wednesday), 2024.
This session began with an overview of India and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, followed by the content of the Jitsumu-Kunren internships in the students’ respective fields of Mechanical Engineering; Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering; and Bioengineering. The students also described their daily activities during the internships, how they spent their free time, and how they prepared for life in India — this was extremely helpful for the other students who wish to apply for the overseas Jitsumu-Kunren internship at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
The presentations by the four students were followed by many enthusiastic questions from the participants, making it a highly valuable session.
We expect that many students will also participate in the overseas Jitsumu-Kunren internship at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras this academic year.
