The purpose of the international conference “STI-Gigaku” is to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations, through sharing progress and achievements in education and related research collaboration with the respective organizations.

NUT and the National Institute of Technology are co-hosting the webinar "SDGs Webinar 2020 - Seizing the moment and creating new SDGs". The purpose of webinar is to raise the issues in one's own region based on the SDGs, and to consider how to achieve local development and innovation to solve the problems.

NUT is co-hosting "Japan Seminar on Technology for Sustainability (JSTS)" with National Institute of Technology.
JSTS 2020 has been cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19.
