Participation in the 53rd Paris Air Show

On 17 to 22 June 2019, faculty members of our university joined the 53rd Paris Air Show held at Le Bourget Airport, Paris. We presented our contribution to the NSCA Project in collaboration with Niigata City. The NSCA Project promotes the establishment of strategic joint factories by gathering SMEs with different distinctive technologies in one place to manufacture aircraft parts jointly. Students of the WISE Program are also scheduled to participate in practical training at this joint factory. In addition, the Paris Air Show hosted exhibitions of the LEAP (Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion) engine manufactured by Safran, which is electric aircraft by Boeing , and SpaceJet, which is the first jet airline made in Japan.
