Available Support

If you are accepted into the program and are an officially enrolled student, the following financial support can be obtained.

1. Admission and Tuition Fees
Admission and tuition fees are waived.

2. Financial Support
Financial support (about 80,000 yen per month for the first two years and 130,000 to 170,000 yen per month for the last three years) will be provided. The amount of financial support is determined by an annual assessment based on “WISE Program Education and Research Grant Requirements”. Typically, grant recipients in years three to five are not allowed to work as they are expected to concentrate on research.

3. Overseas and Domestic Travel Expense Support Program
It is essential to promote practical education at home and abroad, and to conduct world-leading research. We have put in place a support program to assist such initiatives.
