Japan-India Bilateral Symposium was held.

On July 16th Monday and 17th Tuesday 2018, Japan-India Bilateral Symposium was held at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in India. This symposium was organized by Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) and IITM for the promotion of research and educational exchange between Japan and India.

On the 16th Monday, Prof. Bhaskar Ramamurthi the president of IITM and Dr. Azuma Nobuhiko the president of NUT gave opening speeches at the beginning of the symposium. Participants also listened to the keynote speeches and research presentations by professors and students. On the 17th Tuesday, students from NUT who studied at IITM for Jistumu-Kunren(Internship) and students from IITM who studied at NUT gave presentations on each researches, and exchanged their opinions and ideas.

Many of the participants commented that this Bilateral Symposium offered a great opportunity for the promotion of the cooperative education and the joint research between Japan and India.
