Prof. Mikami visited Indian Institute of Technology Madras

On 28 August 2015, Prof. Mikami, Vice President(International Affairs), Prof. Okazaki and Assoc. Prof. Jayaprakash(Dept. of Mechanical Engineering) visited Indian Institute of Technology Madras(IITM). The delegation exchanged opinion about faculty and student exchange with Prof. Nagarajan, Dean, International and Alumni Relations, Prof. Ramamurthy, Dean, Academic Courses, Prof. Kamaraj, Head, Department of Metallurgical and Materials engineering and Prof. Sarathi, Department of Electrical Engineering.

During their visit, Prof. Mikami awarded a certification of completion to the student who participated in internship at Nagaoka University of Technology and a public enterprise in Japan this June.

From this coming September, five students will be dispatched to IITM and taking part in the "Jitsumu-kunren", or long-term internship. To achieve an objective of the project, we will continue promoting bilateral exchange.
