On 4 August 2016, staff from Nagaoka University of Technology participated in a Study in Japan Fair held at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
During the fair, our staff provided students at Indian Institute of Technology Madras with an overview of Nagaoka University of Technology, and also described the opportunities for studying in Japan. Many students visited our booth and learned about research and everyday life at our university, and also collected relevant information about studying in Japan.
While Nagaoka University of Technology has accepted many students from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, we hope to use this opportunity to further increase the number of capable students who will study at our institution.
As students from our university were scheduled to be dispatched to the Indian Institute of Technology Madras under the Jitsumu-Kunren Internship Program in September, our staff also met with the internship hosting academic staff and companies, and learned more about the students’ living environment.
