The Second Indian Institute of Technology Madras/Nagaoka University of Technology Joint Seminar was held at the Embassy of India in Tokyo, Japan

On 3 July 2017 (Monday), the Second Indian Institute of Technology Madras/ Nagaoka University of Technology Joint Seminar was held at the Embassy of India in Tokyo, Japan. Approximately 50 people attended this event, including representatives from companies and organizations associated with India, as well as students from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing Kancheepuram who are living in Japan.

After the welcome reception, opening addresses were delivered by the representative of the Indian Ambassador and Mr. Iwabuchi, Director of the Office for International Planning, Higher Education Policy Planning Division, Higher Education Bureau, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. This was followed by lectures by Prof. M. Kamaraj and Prof. R. Sarathi from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. After the lectures, students from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Nagaoka University of Technology gave presentations on their experiences in the internships.
